PARADE: 9:30 AM Meet OLB entry on MLK Blvd BETWEEN 7TH & 10TH STREETS You don’t have to sign in; we are already registered.

Occupy Long Beach is a registered MLK Parade entrant. We have a vehicle followed by marchers. If you want to volunteer your vehicle or help decorate one call Jason 213-595-5269 jasonjames81@gmail.com).

We are planning some form of invisible street theatre and outreach interactions while people are lined up waiting for the March to begin. Need lots of OLB participants. THIS WILL BE FUN. Brings percussions instruments.

FREE PARKING AT LBCC (PCH & Orange). Shuttle runs to the parade line-up.

AT THE PARK: March ends at MLK Park (1950 Lemon St) where there will be entertainment and games along with food/merchandise vendors and community groups tabling. OLB will have various activities to meet and interact with other participants. Perhaps we will have Open Mic.

OLB Arts is setting up a children’s activity area and needs volunteers. Contact Arts Committee (Mickey: 562-225-7511 micaelaas@gmail.com) with ideas and for sign making time.

WE WILL ALSO HAVE AN OCCUPY SOCAL MEETUP happening in the park at 1pm, where Occupiers from other Southern California Occupations will join in a conversation about how, when and where to set up future combined actions/meetings.
