The recent economic crisis in this country has shown us that our government and corporations care more about profits than about people. Well, the people have something to say about that. Let’s show the 1% that we don’t need them, they need us.

Several groups are organizing smaller marches that will all unite at City Hall. Below are details for three which have been confirmed.
A) The 99% March:
Meet at Shoreline Drive & Pine Ave at 12 Noon
March throughout Downtown area from the South with puppets, signs, instruments, etc, stopping at major banks and corporations including Hyatt and Hilton
Mass Rally with all groups at City Hall courtyard at 2PM
Music, Food, Speakers and other activities planned
B) March for Equality and an End to Oppression:
Meet at MacArthur Park (on Anaheim by Gundry) at 12 Noon
March throughout Downtown area from the North end
Mass Rally with all groups at City Hall courtyard at 2PM
Music, Food, Speakers and other activities planned
C) March for Quality Education:
Walkout of classes at 11:30 AM
Rally on Upper Quad at 12 Noon
Bike/Bus/Drive to Downtown Long Beach
Mass Rally with all groups at City Hall courtyard at 2PM
