As a gathering of people who demand social and economic justice, we are fighting to create an equitable, healthy, and sustainable future for all.
We will engage our communities to wrest power away from institutions that place profit over people.
Inclusive of the full spectrum of diversity in Long Beach, we stand in solidarity with the Occupy movement across the globe. We are non-violent, non-partisan and non-profit.
We are the 99%!

Declaration of the Occupation of New York City
THIS DOCUMENT WAS ACCEPTED BY THE NYC GENERAL ASSEMBLY ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2011
Our General Assemblies are held in the Valparaiso Plaza section of Bluff Park at Ocean and Junipero. In case of inclement weather, check the Facebook page or Twitter feed for location changes. Usually, we will meet at Park Pantry (Broadway & Junipero) during rain or cold.
General Assemblies are meetings to plan and discuss potential strategies and actions for the group. We make decisions using a consensus process which seeks to give every person an equal say in the final decision.
Check out our standard agenda for General Assemblies:
