GA Notes: 11/14/12

IMPORTANT: NO GA NEXT WED. SEE BLACK FRIDAY ACTION (11/23).

1. PORTABLE SOUND SYSTEM

We purchased a portable, rechargeable public address system for OLB.
It was paid for by donations from members and money in our credit union acct.

2. WEB HOSTING RENEWAL

We renewed our web site hosting for another year. It was $78 for the year.
We took up a collection to reimburse our webmaster.

3. BLACK FRIDAY ACTION

Fresh flyers for the February 29th Walmart warehouse action in Mira Loma.
Occupy Riverside will be protesting at the Schneider Logistics warehouse, a major distribution center for Walmart. The warehouse is at 4100 Hamner Ave., Mira Loma, CA. starting at 6am. This will be a major occupation in protest of ongoing abuse of warehouse workers throughout Walmart’s supply chain.
